SCALEZ
[Producer Collection]
Hailing from St Francisville, Louisiana, residing in Atlanta, Ga, Scalez is an RIAA-certified Platinum producer. As a child, he was exposed to music through church. After service, he would go behind the pulpit and play every instrument he saw. As he became older, his parents noticed how much he loved music and decided to purchase him instruments like Casio pianos and drums for Christmas. Practice made perfect, and he received his first paid gig, as a drummer, at his aunt and uncle's church.
At 12 years old, Scalez decided to pursue music professionally. His father loved music and had numerous sound systems, CDs, and cassette tapes. Scalez began to DJ, following the steps of his uncles, and one gifted him a crate full of vinyl records. After graduating high school, he went to Southern University in Baton Rouge for electrical engineering because he was interested in computers and tech. He wanted to take music seriously, so he moved to Atlanta in 2019.
For Scalez, being able to create music is a gift that he's grateful for. He thanks God for using him as a vessel to let the world hear what he feels. Not only does he have an ear for music, he has a heart for music. In the end, music is about what you feel, and the purest sound is bound to touch hearts due to the vibrations it exudes. Scalez's primary focus when creating music is to use his music as an outlet, and whoever connects to it shares the same frequency he had during curation.
Scalez uses is tightly knit to his southern roots, and his sound consists of different elements that create something unique. While listening to his production, you will hear inspiration from Cash Money, No Limit, and Three6Mafia. His music feels like a journey that you want to have a ride on, in a way, cinematic. His catalog consists of records with some of his favorite artists. He's "A Gangsta's Pain" by Moneybagg Yo (RIAA- Certified Platinum), "I Rest My Case" by NBA YoungBoy (Billboard charting), "Sex on the Beach" by Iggy Azalea, and "Gold Rolex" by Bobby Sessions, Benny the Butcher and Freddy Gibbs.
As he continues his journey, Scalez has made major moves in his career. Recently, Scalez partnered with Ultra Music Publishing, founded by Patrick Moxey, and plans to have significant releases this year.
